Vinod Kambli believes Sachin Tendulkar should be the next coach of Team India. In a recent tweet, Kambli has asked BCCI to approach Sachin Tendulkar for the post of national team coach, due to his influence and quality in the cricketing world. Kambli has been in news recently, following his willingness to coach the Pakistan National team in one of his earlier tweets. Earlier, many people including Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman and Sachin Tendulkar gave their vote of confidence for Rahul Dravidto be the next Indian coach. Following the end of Ravi Shastri’s tenure as Team Director, BCCI are looking for a new head for the National side.

Sachin Tendulkar is a cricketing legend in all aspects. The highest Test’s and ODI run-getter, as well as the only player to score 100 centuries in International cricket, Tendulkar is widely regarded as the Greatest batsman of all time. He retired from all formats of the game in 2013, and currently works as the Mumbai Indian’s team ‘icon’. While Kambli, a former team-mate of Tendulkar in international and domestic level, bats him for the national team role, Tendulkar has other ideas.

He along with other prominent players like Ganguly and Laxman believe Rahul Dravid is perfect for the role. Dravid, who recently guided India Under-19 to World Cup final, is currently working as an ‘mentor’ with Delhi Daredevils. The BCCI have said they will consider Dravid’s candidature while finalizing the national coach
